This year 2009 witnessed Avtar - 09(Amateur Visual Talents Awards and Recognition) - a National Level Film Festival. On this one day festival, many creative competitions were conducted including abstract photography, face painting, etc. The jury for short films and documentaries included Cinematographer, Mr.Lakshman, Editor Mr.Kasivishwanathan.
