Dr.G.R.Damodaran College of Science, Coimbatore, India has been a pioneering institution to offer a three year degree leading to a bachelors in Visual Communication. the city of Coimbatore is host to many educational institutions. The degree of Visual Communication and later Mass Communication offered at this college is a very sought after qualification by many and aspiring media students.

Established in 1995, the School of Communication offers a curriculum keeping in mind the media industry requirements. Going with the times, we update the course accordingly. Our mission is to serve the multi-faceted needs of the media and communications industry in particular, and society in general, through education, training, research and advocacy. We seek to develop competent, responsible and innovative professionals in the practice, development and management of media and communication. Our alumni are now in well-placed positions across various media across the globe.
